Sara Ferrari spent a full semester as Visiting Professor in Bogotà, at the University of the Andes, Design Faculty, where she was responsible for leading 3 courses, 1 of which developed in collaboration with the Italian brand Palomar.
The brief, given by the company, was about designing objects that would make travelling, from daily life to vacations, more memorable, comfortable, practical and yet innovative and meaningful.
Students worked on the project for 16 weeks, providing Agape with professional yet meaningful ideas. This was possible thanks to the integration of mindfulness practice during the classes; in fact, in this course, newly designed by Sara Ferrari, students had the possibility to explore how to use mindfulness to create meaningful objects by being more aware during the creative process of designing an idea and relate it to a design project by working with a real company, on a real brief.
The course, entitled “lecciones nomadas” by the University of the Andes, was designed and led by Sara Ferrari .
