Workshop - TU Delft and Alessi
Life in Transition
Sara Ferrari has been appointed Design Coach for the course “Design & Cultural Impact” (2014) at TU Delft, Industrial Design and Engineering Faculty.
This year the students will work in collaboration with the Italian company Alessi, on a project entitled “Life in Transition”.
Sara will guide the students during the design process together with Erik Jepma (course coordinator and tutor), while Nazli Cila and Titus Wybenga will assist them in their cultural studies.
Jepma’s Design and Cultural Impact module examines culture and the impact it has on the design, use and appearance of products. With this module students from previous years won many design prices and had seen their projects produced from companies like the Dutch brand HEMA.
The course is part of the Honours Program, a challenging additional programme for students with higher than average performance and this time it will be in collaboration with Italian brand Alessi.
