Pad, Paper armchair for dreaming, is a small chair, but also an “object” to play with.
Designed for kids, PAD wants to have a short lifespan and this is the reason why it’s made from cardboard, a recyclable and cheap material.
The drawing pad mounted on the back of the chair has a dual function: on one side it has blank paper to allow the child to draw freely; while on the other a variety of figures are printed, depending on the type of pad chosen.
The child can decide top have fun pretending to be a film maker, a bus driver or an airplane pilot choosing the pad with the professions, or else chose the pad with different iconic chairs.
PAD is dismounted when you buy it because the building stage wants to be again part of a game.
Pad Paper armchair was selected as a winning entry in the international design competition PLAYING DESIGN and later displayed at various fairs and institutions like the Milan Furniture Fair, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Lissone, and the MIA in Monza, Italy
